(Wuchang Shipbuilding) has targeted the huge market demand for national public service vessels and commercial workboats, intensifying its research and development efforts. The large-scale cruise rescue vessel 'Haixun 01' built by the company has become a maritime law enforcement vessel in China; the scientific research vessel 'Science' has successfully completed its ocean exploration mission, with various performance indicators 'exceeding customer expectations'; and the deep-diving mother vessel has become a pioneer in China's deep-sea operations. 'Wuchang Shipbuilding has become a main force in the construction of national public service vessels, which has won unprecedented development opportunities for the company,' Liu Le said.

This world's first three-tower, four-span suspension bridge with continuous main cables is the latest masterpiece of Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd.

Sun Ning, Director of the Strategic Development Department of Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., told reporters that Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. has fully leveraged its advantages in steel structure construction. Since the 1980s, it has built more than 140 extra-large steel structure bridges, ranging from pedestrian overpasses to various types of bridges spanning rivers, seas, and valleys, both domestically and internationally. Currently, its market share in large bridge equipment is over 30%. Among them, the steel structure project of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge undertaken by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. has a contract amount exceeding 2.4 billion yuan, making it the largest single non-ship manufacturing project to date for China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation.

'There is considerable room for strategic transformation, leveraging the high-end equipment manufacturing strengths of shipbuilding enterprises,' Sun Ning told reporters. By extending the industrial chain, Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group has formed a reasonable layout across nine major sectors: military industry, military trade, offshore engineering, large ships, small and medium-sized ships, bridge equipment, building steel structures, energy equipment, special complete equipment, material trade, and logistics services.
